The Table Tennis Association of North District (TATAND) and Flexible Packaging Corporation in cooperation with Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Athletics Department are organizing the 4th FLEXIBLE CUP International Table Tennis Championship this coming February 21-22, 2009. In this regard, we would like to invite you and your team to be part of this momentous event.
The aim for this tournament is to help the wide- scale promotion of table tennis in our country and to provide opportunity for local players to play competitively with foreign players and built goodwill and friendship with foreign visitors.

THE 4TH FLEXIBLE CUP INTERNATIONAL TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP
PROSPECTUS OBJECTIVES: To help the wide-scale promotion of table tennis in our country. To provide opportunity for local players to play competitively with foreign players and built goodwill and friendship with foreign visitors. To promote tourism in our country.
DATE & TIME: February 21, 2009 8AM to 10PM February 22, 2009 9AM to 6PM
VENUE: Ateneo De Manila University Blue Eagles Gym, Loyola, Quezon City
ORGANIZER: Table Tennis Association of North District (TATAND) and Flexible Packaging Corp. in cooperation with Ateneo de Manila University Athletics Department
EVENT & FORMAT: Men’s Team Event using the New Swaythling System A vs X, B vs Y, C vs Z, A vs Y, B vs X, minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 players.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all foreign players Open to all Filipino players. Each team can only field either one current or former Philippine national player.

ENTRY FEE: PHP 1000/ Team or US$ 20/Team Only 32 Teams will be accommodated on a first come first serve basis. 8.3 For Local Teams, Entry must accompany with corresponding entry fee.
PRIZES: Champion = Flex’ Cup +medal+ P20,000.00 (15,000 cash + 5000 goods) 1st Runner Up = Trophy +medal+ P15,000.00 (10,000 cash + 5000 goods 2nd Runner Up = Trophy + medal+P10,000.00 (6,000 cash + 4000 goods) 3rd Runner Up = Trophy + medal + P5,000.00 (3000 cash + 2000 goods) 4x QTR finalist = Php1000 goods
DRAW: The Draw will be held on February 16, 2009, 2pm at Green Paddle TTC
RULES: The competition shall be held in accordance with the current rules of ITTF. However, other unforeseen occurrence which is not covered by the ITTF Rules shall be dealt with in accordance with the Organizing Committee.
EQUIPMENT : All equipments are of type approved by ITTF.
UNIFORM: All participants must be in their respective team uniform for proper identity during the Opening Ceremony, Competition and Awarding Ceremony , otherwise their matches will be forfeited.
EXPENSES: All participants shall be responsible for their own expenses (Hotel, Food, Transportation etc), but the Organizing Committee can provide a free airport-hotel-venue transfer for foreign teams
RESERVATION: The Organizing Committee reserves the right to interpret or amend the rules and regulations of this tournament at any time without prior notification. Any other rules that are not covered by this Prospectus will be decided by the Organizing Committee whose decision will be FINAL
