The effect of long pimpled rubbers is maximized when the pimples are easily bent and deformed. The thinner and taller the pimples, the more effective they are. The aspect ratio (the length of the pimple divided by the width of its top) of FEINT LONG II has reached the limits of the ITTF rule.

Feint - this is a long pimpled (pips out) soft rubber. When a ball makes contact with Feint-soft, its pimples are bent easier than those of an ordinary pimpled soft rubber. This helps greatly to contain the speed of an oncoming ball. Very effective against a hard hit ball or a ball with powerful spin. Generally suited for defensive strokes and for fast developing allround play.
Feint-soft is a "Joker" created in the age of combination racket, one side Feint-soft and the opposite side with Tackiness-Drive or with Tackiness-Chop.
